My experience with fizzy drinks

There was a time when I was too much addicted to fizzy drinks. I was just a teenager who lived the cozy NRI life and had developed a liking for these carbonated drinks. That flavour; that sweetness; even the taste of that sweet liquid after it had lost its fizziness was so dear to me.

It was such a bad condition that I didn’t even realise that I was growing weaker and my bones were becoming brittle day by day.

However, it was through various health awareness campaigns conducted in my school that I came to know about the vice of fizzy drink addiction.

I decided to take a drastic step that day. I completely avoided regular consumption of these drinks. The thought that it is for a better purpose, was what drove me.

Since then I stopped regular consumption of these drinks and switched to fruit juices or just plain water.

I noticed some changes in my body ever since :

  1. I was feeling more energetic
  2. I felt as if my bones got harder and stronger
  3. I felt more healthier than before

I still drink one or two glasses occassionally that too only when I’m attending some social function.

But all thanks to God; my complete dependence on these drinks as my primary source of refreshment was brought to a stop.

If I can do it, you can do it as well.

Cheers!

Things to do after you are awake

Eyes open ; consciousness return. We slowly become more aware of our surroundings. What do you do next?

To be honest, each individual has their own specific daily routine. But we all can agree upon a few common things, can’t we ?

First things first. Thank God Almighty for granting you the opportunity to live yet another day. Many people have not made it today

There are tons of health benefits which a glass of water can provide, especially when it’s the first thing you have in the morning.

Drinking water early in the morning, on an empty stomach, clears all the waste from the body and makes you feel more hungry.

P.S. I have experienced this personally

Drinking water :

  • Vastly improves the creation of new blood cells as well as muscle cells,
  • helps in losing weight. , ma
  • Make sure not to eat anything for a while after you drink water in the morning.
  • This water treatment therapy has no side effects and it boosts your metabolism greatly.
3. Go get some vitamins

Your body has an amazing ability to absorb ‘Vitamin D’, from sunlight, which is an essential micronutrient for your health.

However, it’s only the morning sun (i.e) 7 am – 9 am sunlight which helps in generating Vitamin D.

After 10 am, sunlight exposure is bad for the body.

4. Exercise!

Even 10-15 mins of light exercise can do wonders.

Make sure to so something which involves most muscle groups

5. Take a Shower

Showering in the morning can help you become more focused and leaves you refreshing

6. Have breakfast like a king!

Start your day with a power-packed healthy breakfast which can fuel your day

7. Attend nature's call

Get rid of harmful toxins from your body

8. Motivate yourself

Sometimes there will be instances where you won’t stay motivated. If no one motivates you, you have to motivate yourself!
